Tyres & Wheel Alignment
We stock a wide range of new tyres for both cars, vans and commercial fleet. All of our prices include fitting, balancing, new valve and disposal of your old tyres.
It is important to note that when fitting new tyres on a vehicle it might be necessary to replace a tire pressure sensor should the vehicle be equipped with one. A tire pressure sensor, is a device used in modern vehicles to monitor the air pressure within a tire.
These sensors, often part of a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), transmit real-time pressure readings to the vehicle's computer, which then alerts the driver via a dashboard warning light if the pressure is too low. Tire pressure sensors, are typically located inside the tire and are either mounted on the valve stem or attached to the wheel itself.
In summary, wheel pressure sensors are crucial for maintaining optimal tire pressure, contributing to vehicle safety and efficiency by alerting drivers to underinflated tires.
These tire pressure sensors are vehicle specific and are not included in the price of the tyre but are charged separately.
