Car Services

We offer 2 types of services and Pre NCT check.

Type 1: Oil Service: Drain and replace engine oil (Special oils are an additional charge)

• Replace oil filter
• Reset service light (if applicable)
• Check stamp service book / Service sticker

Type 2: Full Service: Drain and replace engine oil (Special oils are an additional charge)

• Replace air, oil, fuel and cabin filter, spark plugs if necessary
• Drain and replace gearbox oil
• Check auxiliary drive belts for condition and tension
• Check handbrake for operation and travel
• Check security of hand brake linkages and lubricate if required
• Remove rear wheels and check front and rear brakes for wear & condition
• Check steering and suspension components and wear
• Check propshaft, drive shaft gaiters for wear and leaks and joints for operation and wear.
• Visually inspect expansion bottle for leaks and cap security as well as radiator cap condition
• Inspect and lubricate door hinges and bonnet catch (if required)
• Check all fluid levels i.e.: Water / Coolant / Brake Fluid / Windscreen Wash
• Check bulbs and wipers
• Check tyre tread depth and tyre pressure
• Reset service light (if applicable)
• Check stamp service book / Service sticker
  

Pre NCT: The following is checked:

Emissions, light focusing , tracking, tyre size, ball joints, brake hose / lines, suspension, safety belts, spare wheel, hooter, loose / broken bodywork, oil level, water level, bulbs and registration plate, remove hub caps and empty boot.

Please note: this is only a CHECK LIST. Should any of the above be found to be in need of work, you will be charged accordingly, over and above the cost of the Pre NCT.

We offer no guarantee that even though a Pre NCT Check has been done that the car will pass the NCT Test.
